OSU Spirit flamingos!
I had some pink flamingo that i had purchased from Dollar General. While i love the color pink they didn't match my orange OSU flag so i decided to paint them. I taped off the beak with electrical tape and then used a spray paint for plastic. Very simple project!
black and white striped skirt
I don't use a pattern very much. For this skirt i took another skirt that i had purchased that the store and used it just to get the basic shape from. I put material underneath it and cut it out in the shape. I did this with both colors of material adn then cut into stips. Strips were then sew together in the same mannor as a quilt. and then a casing was made at the top to run elastic through it. The End :)
Birthday Banner
Again to complete this project i went to my massive bin of recycled cardboard. Not the thick cardboard that you think of but thin cardboard such a the boxes a cake mix come in. Next a chose a lid that was the size i like and i traced on cardboard and cut out however many i needed. Then i glued scrapbook paper onto the circles and let dry. After these were dry i continued to cut off excess paper. Next i cut out cordinating letters on my cricket and glued those onto the circles. Last i hot glued the ribbon inbetween each circle. And you are done:)

To do this i took a record and put it in the oven on about 200 Degrees F. After about 5 minutes you will want to put it out. you can put it on a cookie sheet with a piece of aluminum foil. Once it has reached the temp. you will need to use a pair of gloves and hurry and shape it. It's best to find objects that are already in the shape that you desire that way you can place on that object(example a bowl). I haven't had any problems with any of the records sticking to anything and ruining it. Hope this works for you :)

Owl messenger bag
First Gather supplies. Felt for background and eyes. Material for wings and belly. Thread and duck tape for eyes and handle if you want to braid a color in.
Cut out the body. I googled owl images and found a good owl shape that i liked. Obviously not a real owl but more like a cartoon owl. Then cut out the rest of the parts. Eye outline wings and belly. I made the actual eyes out of a teal duck tape that i just happen to have that matched my material. You could just use a regular material for this part. Next pin each piece where you want it and do a large zig zag stick around all pieces. Remember to only do them onto one layer of the felt.
Last i added the wings and went around with zig zag stick.
Picture Frame Earing Holder
First Gather some supplies. I have a recycling bin full of cardboard boxes and things to i was able to go pull from that for the back of the frame. I used a record box that was left over from another craft that i used the record in. My friend was going to throw away these frames so they were also free :) Small piece of material and some quilting batting (I used 4 layers the size of the frame). A small piece of fabric that will match the room that you will have finished product in. And a hot glue gun and scissors.
Trace frame onto cardboard and cut out. Next cut your batting the same size as the cardboard. Your will need 4 layers of this.
Next place the batting on the cardboard and place material on top of that and flip over. Using your hot glue gun fold the edges over and glue.
Place in frame and you are done:)
